Bushfield
Bushfield is a rural locality in western Victoria, 7 km north of Warrnambool. It is situated on the east side of the Merri River.
Apart from having a post office (1885-1974), Bushfield has had no other institution or public building until recently. It has been a grazing and dairying area.
During the late 1980s Bushfield’s relative proximity to Warrnambool has made it a rural/residential area, but that did not enable the general store/milk bar to continue beyond 2002. Bushfield Social Club and a recreation reserve are the points of interest.
