Altona Meadows

Altona Meadows, a residential suburb west of Altona, is 17 km south-west of central Melbourne. Its western and southern boundaries are the Skeleton Creek and the suburb of Point Cook. The eastern boundary is partly Port Phillip Bay.

The residential settlement of Altona Meadows began in 1971. Its street configuration is mostly grid-like, but some with the north-south streets blocked at the middle so as to form culs de sac. The balance of the area is of standard design which discourages through traffic.
