Buln Buln
Buln Buln is a rural village in west Gippsland, 8 km north of Warragul. It is situated in the County of Buln Buln, and the name is thought to derive from an Aboriginal word describing the lyrebird or place of the lyrebird. Until 1994 Buln Buln was in Warragul shire, not the Buln Buln shire which was to Warragul’s west and headquartered in Drouin.
